<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Among the many modern ritualized practices of attracting money, one can single out a group of actions associated with storing items in a wallet. A “raking spoon”, a mouse for wallet, a frog, a small horseshoe, a four-leaf clover, a bay leaf, a money knot, icons, etc. can be placed in the wallet. The variety of such “talismans” is connected with the interest in the topic of improving financial well-being, to which souvenir manufacturers respond. Based on questionnaire data, comments from forums and social networks, offers on the market of “talismans” and “amulets”, the pragmatics and relationship of the signs that exist inside the wallet are analyzed. The research uses the methodology of the Moscow Ethnolinguistic School and the functional method of Petr Grigoryevich Bogatyrev, theory of assemblage and emergence by Gilles Deleuze, Felix Guattari and Manuel Delanda. As the result the wallet is a special semiotic space in which semiotic systems of different cultures (Chinese mythology, Slavic traditional culture, Orthodoxy, etc.) are connected, forming a polyphony of signs and their semantics. An assemblage wallet collects things inside itself that create dynamic integrity as part of the assemblage, while retaining their individual properties and creating emergent ones that arise as a result of the interaction of parts within the assemblage. Marketing strategies that respond to consumer demand play a major role in shaping practices by creating new signs and their interpretations. The study found that a wallet is a key means of ritualized practice, reinforcing or producing the properties of things.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>ритуализованные практики</kwd><kwd>семиотическое пространство</kwd><kwd>ассамбляж</kwd><kwd>эмерджентность</kwd><kwd>кошелек</kwd><kwd>фейклор</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>ritualized practices</kwd><kwd>semiotic space</kwd><kwd>assemblage</kwd><kwd>emergence</kwd><kwd>wallet</kwd><kwd>fakelore</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Работа выполнена в рамках проекта РГГУ «Мифологические представления и ритуализованные практики в современном российском обществе: трансмиссия традиции и механизмы заимствований» (конкурс «Студенческие проектные научные коллективы РГГУ», 2025–2026).</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">The publication was prepared within the framework of the research work of Russian State University for the Humanities “Mythological Representations and Ritualized Practices in Contemporary Russian Society: Transmission of Tradition and Mechanisms of Adaptation” (“RSUH Student Project Research Teams”, 2025–2026).</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Алексеевский 2013 – Алексеевский М.Д.
