<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The song “Lieutenant Golitsyn” was written by Muscovite Vasily Moksyakov (1944–2020) in 1965. Among other things, it reflected the motives of pre-revolutionary romances, Bulgakov’s play “The Days of the Turbins” and Okudzhava’s songs. The song marked the beginning of the so-called “White Guard romance”, and at the same time, its author’s version stands completely apart from other songs of this kind. There is no monarchism or great power here, no mention of faith, no emigrant melancholy or motive for the doom of the White movement; finally, the riotous motives of the 2nd and 3rd verses are completely alien to the later “White Guard romance”. Until the end of the 1970s, four verses were usually performed, dating back to the author’s version; then a version appeared with the addition of the verse “Ah, Russian sun, great sun...” The song has appeared in a variety of guises – as a courtyard romance and a restaurant chanson, a song of anti-communist protest and a song of the Soviet officer brotherhood. In 1990, the song briefly became an anthem of “Russia, which we have lost.”</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>«белогвардейский романс»</kwd><kwd>В.М.
